Why would you buy our futons?

Futons are a less expensive, but a stylish alternative to traditional beds. These unique, contemporary sofa beds are the perfect solution for those needing a comfortable bed for overnight guests but haven’t got the space for a dedicated guest room. Folded, they serve as a convenient and casual sofa during the day and by night as a comfortable bed. However, more and more people are buying them as a full time sleeping alternative. The mats are firm and very supportive.

Which futon sizes do you have available?

Which mattress colours do you have available?

All mats are available in the following colours and designs: Cream, black, red, navy blue, lime green, stone & khaki.

What is the mattress made of?

Our futons mats are approx. 18cm thick and comprise of a mix of 70% Cotton, 20% Polyester and 10% Acrylic

What is the bases made of?

Our futon bases are manufactured from untreated pine

What are the differences between studded and non-studded mattress

STUDDED (non-removable cover option)
UNSTUDDED (removable cover option – cover zips off for washing)

How long will a futon mattress last?

We have customers who change their futon after 4 or 5 years and others who use their futon for 10 years or longer. Futons become firmer over time and the lifespan will be different for different people. It depends on many factors including: your weight: the lighter you are the longer any mattress will last.

Your profile: if you sleep on your side your mattress has to accommodate the shape of your hips and shoulders. For this reason there is some degree of gender difference – men tend to like firmer mattresses than women. If you sleep on you back your profile is flatter and a firmer mattress is more acceptable;

How well you look after your futon: the cotton in your futon will absorb moisture from your body – rolling and turning your futon once a week will air it and restore the loft of the fibres. The more you do this the longer your futon will last.

What is the delivery fees?

Cost R300 for the following main centres: Gauteng, Durban and Cape Town. Please contact us for a quote for areas outside of these areas.

How long does it take to receive my futon once ordered?

Our very dynamic and effective fleet will deliver your product to your doorstep and address of choice within 7 to 10 working days. For more details, please view our Delivery policy.

How do I order?

You can conveniently order any of our products on our website by simply clicking on the SHOP button. Browse and add as many products to your basket as you want. Once you are ready simply checkout and viola you are steps away from receiving your order.

Do I need to register before I can order?

No. You simply fill in your basic billing and delivery details and proceed to select your payment option.

How do I pay for my order?

You have the convenient option of securely paying on our website with your Credit Card OR make an EFT payment.
We also make use of an accredited FSP that will allow you to shop on credit.

What will this delivery service cost me?

Cost R300 for the following main centres: Gauteng, Durban and Cape Town. Please contact us for a quote for areas outside of these areas.

When do you deliver?

We deliver from Mondays to Fridays.
We will notify you in advance when we will be delivering. Please make sure that you have someone available to accept your order.

Will my order be packaged?

Utmost care is taken when we ship out our futons. We make use of specialised wrapping and packaging that are designed to keep your futon safe in transit.

PLEASE NOTE! The packaging we use on our mattresses are designed to temporarily shrink the mattress for transit. Once you open your mattress packaging you will notice that the mattress is slightly smaller than the base (THIS IS NORMAL) and will return to the correct size once you have followed the care instructions.

What if I'm not satisfied with the quality of your products?

Our policy lasts 7 days from delivery. If 7 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

Kindly note that you forfeit the delivery fee originally charged and that there will also be a collection fee applicable should you wish for us to collect the product from your address. Alternatively the product can be taken by yourself to our nearest depot which are located in Gauteng, Durban and Cape Town.
